My cards are now available for sale at The Last Straw!

Late last year, my husband, Omar had a holiday party for work, which was hosted at Cajun Pacific Restaurant. It served really good food and just happened to be next door to a very cute, neighborhood boutique, called The Last Straw (located at 4540 Irving St.,San Francisco, CA 94110). Since we were early and our daughter, Halima, was napping, I thought that I would just walk in and check it out. A very nice lady greeted me and I just looked around. The lady approached me once other customers cleared out and asked if she could help me find anything. She started to chat with me about where and who items in the store were made. I noticed their card selection was big but had no handmade variety. I asked if they had any handmade cards, just to confirm and she replied with a simple no. I thought, well since this store has so many handmade items, I am going to see if they would be interested in handmade cards. She said Yes. So, I explained to her that I would be interested in selling these items here. Just then, the owner walked in to chat with lady I was speaking with. She said, "Well, here's the owner now. Why don't you talk to her?" So I did and she said that she would like to see them.
After a hectic holiday schedule, we decided to meet last Friday. The owner, Marge, looked over my card selection and decided to pick about 20 cards to try out in her store. I know that its not a huge number, but it is a great start. And she says that if they sell well, then she will request more from me. They are located in the card area in a red box. So, this is where you guys come in, especially all you city dwellers. It would be great if you guys checked them out over there. You already know that there is a great Cajun place next door and I know there's a coffee shop around the corner too. Remember buy local and from a friend. Hey its good karma! Regardless, I hope you are well and look forward to writing you soon about the progress.
