My first scrapbook project

I met my client at a craft show in Fremont, where she saw my work and asked if I would be interested in completing a scrapbook for her. I was very excited about the challenge of working with pictures and larger scale layouts than my usual product, greeting cards. Although, I felt a little apprehensive since I hadn't made a scrapbook for even my own family or friends. The client was very positive about my work, so I gained confidence that I could create the scrapbook.

After a few conversations on the phone, I met my client at her home in Piedmont. She had pictures, lots of supplies and a goal for it to be a surprise on every page. We met on a Monday and we agreed upon a rough draft for that Friday and a final draft for the following Friday. I needed to complete 20 pages in just 4 days. I thought that it was doable since I could work on it a few hours a day (while my daughter of 2 napped and after she was off to bed) and complete 5 pages a day. It worked. Over the four days, I worked on it for 13 hours and completed all 20 pages.

On that Friday, I was so very excited to show my client my work. According to my husband and mom, it was terrific. I really hoped that my client would feel the same way. She was so happy with the results that she asked me not to change a thing! She told me that I would be hearing from her again with more projects. I was very proud of the work that I had done.

I would love to work on more projects like this one. So, if anyone is in need of a scrapbook for Christmas, a birthday or own gift, please let me know. I would be happy to convert a box full of photos into a wonderful photo keepsake. Enjoy viewing my work and have a happy holiday.
